Blood Drive - Sunday, February 21

In conjunction with Florida’s Blood Centers, LMIC’s KidsKare is hosting a blood drive. The Big Red Bus will be here on Sunday, February 21 from 8:00 AM—1:30 PM. Our kids will be assisting with sign ups, handing out cookies & juice and helping in many other ways. Parents: please sign up your kids on the bulletin board if they want to help. Stephen Ministry Meeting - Sunday, February 21

A question and answer meeting will be held on February 21, 9:30—10:30 AM in the church office conference room for those who have a desire to become part of this Christian Caring Ministry. Please contact Jennifer Bellino, Stephen Leader, through the church office for further details/info.

Summer Camp Q & A - Sunday, February 21

Mid-Week Lenten Worship Series begins Wednesday, February 24

For this year’s mid-week Lenten Services, Lutheran Ministry in Christ presents a series of video meditations by “Nooma” (Rob Bell). These short videos give us much upon which to reflect during Lent, a season to explore God’s Presence in our lives. The liturgy for the evening is the much-loved Holden Evening Prayer.

March 24 – “Tomato”

Annual Picnic - Sunday, February 28

Join us on Sunday, February 28 for food, fellowship and fun for all ages including inflatable activities, slides, a petting zoo, a DJ to play all the good songs, fun group activities, a cake walk, and lots of games! Tickets are $2 per person and will be available through February 21. Hamburgers & hot dogs included. See the bulletin board or newsletter for info on what to bring.

Annual Yard Sale - Saturday, March 6

Bring items you’d like to donate to the Centrum beginning Sunday, February 21 through Wednesday, March 3 (larger items such as furniture can be brought in on Thursday and Friday, March 4 & 5). Help is needed before, during, and after the yard sale. Spaces will also be available for your “personal” yard sale. Cost is $25 per space. Book Buddies Tuesday, February 23

Book lovers: join us on Tuesday, February 23 (7:00 PM) for a special meeting at Mythos restaurant to celebrate our 50th book. If you haven't read a book for this month, just come to reconnect!

Close-Knit Circle of Friends Saturday, February 27

Bring your favorite needle craft (knit, crochet, embroidery, etc.) and join in a morning of fun and fellowship on Saturday, February 27 from 10:00 AM—Noon.

2009 Year End Financial Report Now available

The 12/31/09 year end financial report is now available. Confirmed members of the LMIC congregation may obtain a copy by contacting Mimi Milton, Executive Director, in the church office (mmilton@lmic.org or 954-752-6566).

Join the Audit Team

Volunteers are needed to serve on the Lutheran Ministry in Christ Audit Team. Service involves 2 Saturdays and an evening or two in late February, early March. If you are interested in participating, please contact Mimi Milton, Executive Director, (mmmilton@lmic.org or 954-752-6566).
