The LMIC Congregation Council has 9 elected members who serve three-year terms. The Pastor is an ex-officio member. He, along with Mimi Milton, Executive Director, attends meetings regularly. Other staff attend as needed. These meetings (held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month beginning at 7:30 PM) cover the business of the congregation and are open to all members. The Congregational Council initiates special task force groups as needed, such as Nominating, Budget, Audit, Stewardship, Sabbatical, Evangelism, Financial Development, Disaster Preparedness and Recovery. In addition to conducting business during their monthly meetings, LMIC’s Council spends time in Bible Study, reflection and visioning.
