Confirmation

At LMIC, our Confirmation Ministry is a one year program designed for students in 8th Grade. We are in our second year of exploring a new approach to faith journeying, in a process called H2H (Head to Heart). H2H is not just about “learning”— it’s about “experiencing.” Instead of “classes,” there are “Events”—Theme Events, Fellowship Events and Serve Events. Teams of Adult and Young Adult “Faith Guides” will be organizing these Events. These components make for a well-rounded Confirmation experience helping teens explore their faith in a growing relationship with God and caring relationship with others.

Important Dates for the 2009-2010 Confirmation Class:

SEP 24-26, 2010 Retreat (Birch State Park)

OCT 30, 2010 Confirmation Breakfast and Rehearsal 9:00 am

OCT 31, 2010 Confirmation Sunday (Affirmation of Baptism) 11:00 AM
